As an adult, probably hiking the Kalalau trail on the NaPali Coast on the north shore of Kauai. It's 35km round trip, rugged, almost never level, narrow and cliff-side in many places. It also happens to be arguably one of the most beautiful places on this planet! And when I wasn't an adult..well all kinds of crazy daring stuff...
First off, I really don't like that question...To me, if once achieved, it's all over! So my list is alway changing and growing - it's ALIVE!
Not so easy, it used to be quirky Elon Musk. What other visionary could have revolutionize the auto industry AND create a successful rocket company...still thinking on that one.
Pizza. But not any pizza, Neapolitan style, thin, chewy, charred, bubbly crust kind, cooked at 800 deg on stone, no more than 4 toppings..and maybe cannoli from Mike's Pastry in Boston's North End!
I'd have to say I was co-creator of the modern snowboard. I grew up in Montreal where the winters kind of put the breaks on skateboarding, which I was fanatical about. So naturally we had to figure out the snow version. A co-skater friend of mine and myself built and tried tons of designs and prototypes. We had designed and drawn what looks like and performs as a current day snowboard...we were teens, had no money, could not build it without expensive machinery one would believed in our idea...Meanwhile 100km south, Jake Carpenter was on the same path...and
